This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I was very disappointed... The ambiance inside is nice and the outside eating area is sheltered and pleasant. The staff are friendly enough; I would add that the service is pretty slow and we had to remind our waitress twice regarding our drinks. I ordered the “Zwiebel-Roastbraten” which, if you’ve eaten one before, was nothing like what you would expect. Normally there are cooked onions on the steak -this the name. Not here. It appeared to me that the chef was going for a new interpretation on this classic meal. And failed. What I got was a nicely cooked but very small portion of steak. That’s all. I ordered French-fries instead of the “Blutzenbrot”. I paid €25.00 for about 100 grams of meat and some fries...no salad and no vegetables. I have had much better steaks for less money. I think the chef is trying to be too fancy and forgetting about what is important...namely providing a good meal that matches the price. I would normally not pay more than €15,00 for what I received. My juice with carbonated water was flat and had no fizz. Disappointing. The three people I was here with enjoyed their meals well enough. If you do eat here don’t order the steak. It isn’t worth it.

Unfortunately no recommendation, because the general conditions were not right. The landlady / restaurant manager (?) Greeted us after our "Grüß Gott" first with a "moment" to devote herself to the bookkeeping. She wasn't wearing a mask here, although there was no pane between the counter and the entrance area. Then after some back and forth as to whether something was still available (we didn't have a reservation), we were brought to our table. We felt more like supplicants than guests. The drinks came with some delay. First placing the food at the next table and then slowly fetching cutlery, which is already on the table, is inattentive. The 4 drinks were all poured 1 - 1.5 cm below the calibration mark - after the foam had disappeared (have photo). That annoyed. The food was delicious. But we didn't feel the warmth and honest friendliness in the service from the landlady. It was only when we were clearing that we were asked whether the food was okay. The terrace is rather noisy due to the adjacent street. Hence no further visit.

So fine, so courteous and so lovingly arranged and served. Thanks to Andrea and Wolfgang .. very, very gladly again and again with pleasure the "ochsenbackerl"

Five of us had dinner today, everything was delicious, my best sauerbraten in a long time. The other dishes are also all waiting very well. Definitely again next time you visit the lake. The waitresses were all very friendly, attentive and it went very quickly.

The food was to die for! Fabulous, attentive service. Lovingly arranged food, very creative and fine-tuned. Familyfriendly! We will definitely be back and next time not just by accident!

Excellent cuisine, even a hood and rightly with 14 points best restaurant in the district. In parallel but also traditional cuisine on offer. Prices comparatively surprisingly cheap. When the chefs cook even better. Only the wine list could be supplemented with Mediterranean wines. Great taste kitchen in the otherwise very down to earth cuisine of the region.

Outside we sat very nicely on the terrace. Food and drinks were very good, the service was ok. Prices are fair. The interior decoration is a matter of taste. Noteworthy: For payment by credit card for the bill for almost 180 euros is a surcharge of 2 euros incurred - never experienced. And the tip can not be paid with the card - tax evasion?

I miss the words "excellent" would probably meet

Excellent restaurant a little bit on the countryside of Nuremberg. Great food, I tasted the asparagus menu and it was awesome. I put 4 stars because I found the service very cold and a little distant..

Who wants something great Franconian or a touch of Austrian food, must go. Here I would give more than 5 stars.

Good restaurant with restrictions Very friendly service. Unfortunately, the breaded schnitzel was of extremely poor quality. Despite the fact that the raw materials are obtained from regional sources, which actually speaks for good quality, meat was used here that, apart from fibers, only contained a lot of water. Anyone who knows the importance of good pork and its marbling would have to buy an inferior one. The end product was to be confused with a piece of breaded cardboard, baked in low-quality fat. But otherwise I can highly recommend the inn.
